Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou, Zhouzhuang, Hangzhou
No doubt there is no other city on the planet is developing
faster and going through more changes than nowadays Shanghai,
the biggest commercial center of China. For the first visitor
to Shanghai, very likely you won¡¯t believe it is a communist
Chinese city, a modern cosmopolis with soaring skyscrapers
around everywhere looks nearly comparable to the Big Apple
or neighboring Tokyo of Japan. Used to be lagged out tens
of years, Shanghai is taking swift steps to push herself
on the lineup of leading cities in the world in many areas
even including most avant-garde fads of fashions, music,
food, paintings, and much more related to the western-styled
life vogue. Following the success of being qualified to
be the host for Expo 2010, the city will certainly trigger
a massive jump forward to establish herself fully better

Day 1: Beijing (about 2 hours flight) ¡ª Yangtze River
Bridge
Fly to Nanjing, a big city rich in historic legacies. Upon
arrival, transfer to sightsee the grand Nanjing Yangtze
River bridge which extends 6,700 meters long. Dinner served
with Qinhuai Flavor dishes.Stay at Hilton International
Hotel or similar grade hotel.
Day 2: Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum¡ª Mingxiaoling Mausoleum
¡ª Temple of Confucius ¨¤ Wuxi (about 2.5 hours)
Breakfast. Visit solemn Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. The mausoleum
of Sun Yat-sen (1866-1925), the great pioneer of Chinese
revolution, was built after his death from 1926-29 on the
southern side of the Zhongshan Mountain in the eastern suburb
of Nanjing. Proceed to visit Mingxiaoling Mausoleum The
Mingxiaoling Mausoleum is one of the biggest imperial tombs
in ancient China there buried is Zhu Yuan-zhang, founding
emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).Lunch break. Proceed
to the Temple of Confucius positioned on bank of Qinhuai
River. The Temple was first built in 1034 for local people
to pay tribute to Confucius. Having weathered the ups and
downs over the years, the temple has now become a public
cultural and entertaining center. Leave Nanjing and take
bus to Wuxi. Dinner served with Qianlong Feasti in hotel.

Day 3: The Giant Buddha in Mt. Lingshan¡ªTurtle-Head
Islet¡ªXihui Park¨¤Suzhou(about 1 hour ride)
Breakfast. Take bus to visit the Giant Buddha, a bronze
statue of Sakyamuni standing 88 metres tall on the slope
of Lingshan Mountain in the Mashan District of Wuxi. Lunch
served with Lingshan Vegetarian Dishes. Proceed to the Turtle-Head
Islet, the best place to admire the beauty of Taihu Lake.
Lunch break. To visit Xihui Park that covers 46 hectares
(113 acres) in size and comprises of numerous gardens, teahouses,
museums, temples and pagodas. In afternoon take bus to Suzhou
city. Dinner served with Pingtan Feast.
Stay at Sheraton Suzhou Hotel&Tower or similar grade
hotel.
Day 4: Humble Administrator's Garden - Hanshan Temple
- Tiger Hill(Hu Qiu) - Suzhou Silk Mill - Suzhou - Hangzhou
Breakfast. Visit Humble Administrator¡¯s Garden, one of four
renowned Chinese classical gardens in Suzhou. Proceed to
Hanshan Temple, was first built during the Tianjian Reign
of the Liang Dyansty (one of the Northern Dynasties 420¨C589
AD) and a poem made by Tang-dynasty poet Zhang Ji made the
temple a popular fame and everlasting notion among Chinese
domestic and abroad. Tiger Hill Park is one of Suzhou's
greatest attractions! Within the park are many great sites
rich in historic background and legend, which makes it a
wonderful place for a leisure time or an afternoon of exploration.
Lunch break. Transfer to Suzhou silk mill where you get
a chance to purchase fabulous silk pieces. Then after, take
bus to Zhouzhuang, a water town in ages in south China (pedicab
and boat sightseeing transport included). The scenery of
the town features arched bridges, meandering streams and
the quaint houses. The history of the town can be traced
back to the Spring &Autumn Period(about 2,000 years
ago). In its history Zhouzhuang has received numerous writers
and artists. Because of their description, the name of the
place spread over whole China. Take bus to Hangzhou. Dinner
served with Hangzhou casserole.
Stay at Shangri-La Hotel or similar grade hotel.
Day 5: Leifeng Pagoda ¡ª Huagang Fish Pond ¡ª West Lake
¡ª Temple of General Yue Fei ¡ª Pagoda of Six Harmonies
Breakfast. Transfer to Leifeng Pagoda that has been a major
backdrop of "The Legend of the White Snake", a
touching love story repeatedly adapted for traditional operas
and also for modern movies and TV series. Next, to appreciate
the classical beauty of West Lake in boat; the sceneries
there around gave a lot of imaginations to poets in ancient
China resulting in loads of everlasting poems full of oriental
taste. Proceed to visit Temple of General Yue Fei, a patriotic
general of the Southern Song Dynasty(1127 ¨C 1279 AD), led
his celebrated Yue Family Army resisting repeated invasions
of the Juchen troops to recover large tracks of territory.
Lunch served with buffet hot pot. Continue to visit Pagoda
of Six Harmonies, a representative masterpiece of ancient
Chinese architecture. Dinner served with Hangzhou Zhang¡¯s
special flavors.
Stay at same hotel as above.
Day 6: Temple of Souls Retreat (Lingying Si) ¡ª Feilaifeng
Peak¨¤Shanghai (about 2.5 hours bus ride) ¡ª Yuyuan Garden
¡ª Town God Temple ¡ª Old Street ¡ª Viewing Platform in Jinmao
Building
Breakfast. Transfer to Temple of Souls Retreat (LingYing
Si), one of the best known Buddhist monasteries in China.
built in 326 at the foot of Lingyin Mountain. Continue to
view the Feilaifeng Peak acknowledged as a hill that flew
here from India ¨C check it out why yourself there. Take
but to Shanghai. Lunch break served with Kong Yi Ji Flavor.
Transfer to sightsee Yuyuan Garden, the most celebrated
classical Chinese garden in Shanghai which was first built
in 1559. Proceed to Town God Temple and Shanghai Old Street,
both are shopping areas lined up with traditionally-styled
architectures. Many local snack food are available there
as well. Transfer to Jinmao Building that sustains the tallest
viewing platform in China overlooking newly developed areas
of the city. Totally 88 floors make the building stand as
high as 340.1 meters. Dinner served with Xiao Nan Guo Flavor
of Shanghai.

Day 7: Oriental Pearl TV Tower - Nanjing Road - The
Bund - Xintiandi Plaza - ShanghaiQBeijing/Shanghai (about
2 hours flight)
Breakfast. Transfer to Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Situated
within the Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Pudong New Area, Oriental
Pearl TV Tower, with a giddy height of 468 meters, is the
world's third tallest TV tower after the 553-meter CN Tower
in Toronto and the 535-meter Moscow TV Tower. Going up the
tower is on your own expense(about RMB 50 Yuan). Continue
to sightsee Nanjing Road and the Bund, both of which are
commercial cores of the city. Proceed to Xintiandi Plaza
for shopping. Take bus to the airport and fly back to Beijing
and see off
