Beijing / Xi’an 7-Day Tour

Day 1: Beijing- Temple of Heaven - Beihai Park - Acrobatic Show - Sanlitun Bar Streets

Welcome to Beijing, we pick up at Beijing International Airport, and transfer to visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors of both Ming and Qing dynasties presented in person to make sacrifice ceremony to God of Heaven for good harvest. As large as 27,000 square meters, the temple consists of Qi Nian Dian (Hall of Prayer For Good Harvest), Echo Wall, Altar of Heaven, Palace of Abstinence, etc. After lunch, proceed to Beihai Park, a park of royal families of dynasties of Jin, Yuan, Ming, Qing. Qing Palace Feast for dinner and followed up with a acrobatic show. Transfer to Bar Street in Sanlitun, being regarded as LAn Kwai Fong of Beijing and you may hang around taking a joyful break. Stay at Swissotel Beijing Macau Center or similar grade hotel.

Day 2: Tian’anmen Square - Great Hall of The People - Forbidden City - Jingshan Park

After breakfast, go to Tian’anmen Square, the largest square in the world that can hold an assembly of 1 million people. Proceed to Great Hall of The People located on the outer ring of Tian’anmen Square, also a tycoon architecture with a big meeting hall allowable of 10-thousand conferees and an enormous banquet hall being able to provide dainty repast for 10-thousand people as well. After lunch, visit a “must” sight of Beijing – the Forbidden City, the palace of the Ming(1368-1644) and Qing(1644-1911) Dynasties, the largest and best-preserved ancient building group in China. Mount up to Jingshan Park and to take an overlook at the Forbidden City. Taste civilian state banquet at dinner.Stay at the same hotel as above.

Day 3: Great Wall - Juyongguan Pass - Ming Tombs - Ding Tomb - Hutong(lanes and alleys)

After breakfast, take bus to the world-renowned Great Wall (at the section of Juyongguan Pass) and you will be surprised at this human wonder. After lunch transfer to Ming Tombs and the underground palace of Ding Tomb(one of Ming Tombs). Proceed to take a zigzag Hutong tour in the city in pedicabs at your own expenses. Dinner will be served with famous Quanjude Beijing Duck.Stay at the same hotel as above.

Day 4: Summer Palace - Yuanmingyuan Relics - Gongwang Mansion -Yonghe Lamasery Palace - Xindong’an Market —Wangfujing Street—Dongfang PlazaQXi’an

After breakfast, proceed to Summer Palace, one of the largest imperial garden. Man’s buffet lunch. Visit Yuanmingyuan Relics, the old imperial summer garden of Qing Dynasty and its construction lasted as long as 150 years. Next to visit Gongwang Mansion and Yonghe Lamasery Palace, both are historical sites in Qing Dynasty. Transfer to Xindong’an Market, Wangfujing Street and Dongfang Plaza, for shopping and free time activities. Take direct flight to Xi’an.
Dinner and stay at Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel or similar grade hotel.

Day 5: Xi’an - Greater Wild Goose Pagoda(Dayanta) - Great Mosque(Dongda Temple) - Forest of Steles - Old City Wall

After breakfast, proceed to Ci’en Temple where homes the famous Greater Wild Goose Pagoda that was built for keeping the sutra taken from India. Visit Great Mosque, locally called Dongda Temple, capable to admit 1,000 people in canonical time. Continue to visit Forest of Steles, where Inscriptions of scholars of the Qin, Han and Song dynasties, writings and poems of sages and philosophers through the ages and samples of the calligraphy of the old masters have been preserved. Sightsee the old city wall of Xi’an. Taste dumpling(Jiaozi) Feast for dinner.
Stay at Jianguo Hotel or similar grade hotel.

Day 6: Terra Cotta Army Museum - Huaqing Pool - Banpo Museum- Dance Show of Tang Dynasty Style

After breakfast, transfer to Lishan hill where is located the 8th World Wonder – Terra Cotta Army(about 1.5 hours bus ride). Then proceed to another famous tour site – Huaqing Pool, a hot spring pool used by an emperor and his concubine of Tang dynasty. Lunch break. Transfer to visit Banpo Museum, located in the east of Xi'an, is the site of a village that dates back around 6,000 years to the Neolithic Era known as the Yangshao Culture in China. Dinner and appreciate a dance show of Tang dynasty style.Stay at the same hotel as above.

Day 7: Xi’an-Beijing

Breakfast and take direct flight back to Beijing and See off
