13-Day Tour of Guangzhou, Guilin,Hangzhou,Qiaodao Lake,Mount Huangshan and Beijing

Day 1
Welcome to Guangzhou, capitalof the Guangzhou Province and southern China's most dynamic and developed commercial center. A brief sightseeing tour will acquaint you with this famous "Five-Ram City".

Day 2
Guangzhou - Guilin by air
Today fly to Guilin.Dightseeing starts with a visit to the most famous Reed Flute Cave or Fubo Hill up where you can climb for the panoramic view of the city.

Day 3
Take a boat ride in the morning along the Li River to Yang Shuo, viewing the spectacular scenery as it reflects in the crystalline water. You can explore Yang Shuo - a small town with many stalls selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts articles.

Return to Guilin by coach for dinner.

Day 4
Hangzhou - Shanghai by train
After 2-hour flight takes you to the idyllic city od Hangzhou where sightseeing focuses on the lovely gardens, lakes and landscape island.

Day 5
A full day sightseeing features a cruiese on the famous Wset Lake and a visit to the Pagoda of Six Harmonies. If time permits, visit a silk factory, or Linyin (Soul's Retreat) Temple.

Qiandao Lake - Huangshan Mountain by coach
Huangshan Mountain (Yellow Mountain) is one of the famous scenic spots in China, reputed to be "Number One Mountain under Heaven" and known for its pines, rocks, clouds, and hot springs.
There are 72 famous peaks in the scenic area, of which the three main ones - Lianhua Feng (Lotus Peak), Tiandu Feng (Celestial City Peak) and Guangmingding (Bright Top) are over 1,800 metres above sea level (It takes one day to go from Hangzhou, and another day to come back. Three days are needed at least to make a tour of the mountain.)

Day 8
At Huangshan Mountain, to see the spectacular sunrise at the top of the mountain - named Beihai (North Sea).

Day 9
At Huangshan Mountain

Day 10
Huangshan Mountain - Beijing by air
Drive to Tunxi Airport, a distance of 75 km away from the mountain, before taking a flinght to Beijing.

Day 11
Morning tour to Tian An Men Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Imperial Palace (Forbidden City) - one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. After lunch proceed to the Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvest. This is the largest temple complex remaining in China today.
Cultural or acrobatic performance (if available) will be attended in the evening.

Day 12
A full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feasts of human labor - the only man-made construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Scared Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Dinner is the famous Beijing roasted duck at a local restaurant.

Day 13
Your journey comes to an end with fond memories of an exceptional China experience.

Huangshan

Itinerary 1 (3days / 2nights)

Day 1 Arrive at Tunxi in the morning. To Mt.Huangshan Scenic Area by coach. A Yungu cable-car carries you up the mountain. Sightsee Begin-to-Be-lieve Peak, Flower Scattering Valley, Lion Peak, Flying Over Rock, etc.
Hotel: Xihai / Beihai / Shilin
Day 2 Watch the sunrise. Sightsee Cloud-Dispelling Pavilion, Bright Summit, Magic and Fascinating Scenic Area, etc. Down the mountain by Yungu cable-car and back to Tunxi by bus. Hotel: International / Huaxi / Shangwu
Day 3 Stroll about the Tunxi Ancient Street, the best-preserved commercial street built in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Tour Wancui Tower, a private museum with a lot of valuables; visit Hukaiwen Ink Factory and Huangshan Municipal Museum brfore department.

Itinerary 2 (4days / 3nights)

Day 1 Arrive at Tunxi in the afternoon. Stay overnight downtown at International Hotel.
Day 2 Up the mountain along the Taiping cable-way, the biggest passenger transport cable way in China and also the longesrt one in Asia at present. Visit the scenic sports like Cloud dispelling Pavilion, Magic-and-Fascinating Scenic Area,etc. Down the mountain by cable-car. Have a walk around the Hot-spring area.
Hotel: Taoyuan Hotel
Day 3 Bus to Yixian County, known as a paradise on earth. Visit three well-known villages; Xidi, Hongcui and Nanpin. Back to downtown to enjiy a Huangmei opera performance.
Hotel: International Hotel
Day 4 Bus to Shexian County, a famous historic and cultural town. Visit Xuguo Archway, Doushanjie Street, and Tangyue Archway Complex. A walk in Tunxi Old Street or attend a lecture in Xinan calligraphy and painting. Departure.

Itinerary 3 (4days / 3nights)

Day 1 Arrive at Tunxi District at noon. Transferred to Huangshan Scenic Area by bus. Enjoy the beautiful views in Hot Spring Area at the foot of the mountain. Stay overnight at Taoyuan Hotel.
Day 2 A Yupin cable-car carries you up the mountain. Enjoy the beautiful views on Yuping Peak, especially the No.1 pine of the mountain--Guest-- welcoming Pine; take a distant view of Tiandu (Celestial Capital) Peak; padd by Sea-centre Pavilion; climb up the scond highest peak called Bright Summit, Flying-over Rock,etc.

Day 3 Visit Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, Magic-and-Fascinating Scenic Area, Lion Peak, Flower-scattering Valley and Begin-to-Believe Peak. Down the mountain by Yungu cable-car and back to downtown by bus.

Day 4 City tour: Tunxi Old Street, the best-preserved commercial street built in the Ming and Qing dynasties; Wancui Tower, a magnificent private museum; an ink factory and Huangshan Municipal Museum.Departure.
